Are you ready for the ultimate Storyfinding challenge? This is your chance for the adventure of a lifetime 🎉
Â
Trusted by leaders of the worlds most legendary brands

Nothing to buy. No entry fees. The catch? Only the best story wins.
- Find an amazing story in one of four cities - Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Bali, or Auckland. Why these? Cause that's where Patrick will be during late February and March.
- The story you find must be based on a real person and be a real story. We are not accepting scripts or narrative ideas for this challenge.Â
- Our team is also able to compete (heck, they love to travel too). Whoever finds the best story wins. That said, the judging criteria are outlined below, and entries will be reviewed blindly (without who submitted them attached to the entry).
- If your story is chosen, you'll win an all-expense-paid trip to join me on set and bring it to life. Only one story will be chosen across the four cities.
- Your story (and character) must be based within a 2-hour drive of one of the four city centers listed (ie Bali, Auckland, etc)
- You DO need to reach out, make contact, and ensure the person is interested in having their story told. Only a viable story can win. And we'll validate that before nominating the winner.Â
- Should you want help on how to find these remarkable stories, reach out, and get your entry ready, grab our Storyfinding Hero course at $27. No purchase is needed, I'm simply sharing how you can get guidance if you'd like it.
- A maximum of 3 entries per person/company. If you submit more than 3, only your first 3 entries will be considered.Â
But you'll need to find the REMARKABLE. Take action RIGHT NOW, not tomorrow, not next week. Build a plan and let the hunt begin…
Sign up below to automatically get sent the form for submitting your stories. We'll also send you updates on the challenge.
No purchase is necessary. Only 3 entries TOTAL per person/company. Submissions close Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at midnight PST.

Hey there, filmmaker, Patrick here.
If you haven’t already watched the video at the top of the page and entered your email to register for the challenge, I'd do those first.
Now, why the heck am I doing this?
Well, I'll give you three reasons:
- I LIVE for epic stories. I tell them in my spare time, and I'm always on the hunt for the next one.
- I have a remote work trip coming up across SE Asia and New Zealand and it's the PERFECT backdrop for this challenge
- I also love the power of community – what can happen when we come together create something much bigger. And that's what will happen here.
After 12 years of making 5, 6 and 7-figure films for brands and travelling across 70+ countries in pursuit of story...
I miss the power in telling a remarkable story for nothing more than the power and experience of that story itself. No end client. No commercial tie-in.
Just pure unfiltered storytelling at its best.
That's what we'll make here.
Years back, I actually launched a web series called 'The Remarkable Ones', and it featured the stories of some of the world's most inspiring people that you've probably never heard of. Some of those episodes went on to get featured by sites like Upworthy, become Vimeo staff picks, and get over 5M views on a single episode.Â
That the kind of story we'll be telling together here.Â
You'll find some examples of those films on this page. You can use those as a guide for the types of characters and stories we're looking for here.Â
Now if you want help on the Storyfinding process – what to look for, how to reach out, and even get an AI companion to help you in your hunt – you can snag Storyfinding Hero, our mini-course that walks you through the step-by-step process of finding remarkable stories. You don't need to buy this to enter or win. I'm simply sharing as I know we'll get tons of emails of people asking where to start and how to reach out to the stories they find.
If you want Storyfinding Hero to help you with this challenge, you can add it for 80% off, just $27. Regardless of this challenge, it's a steal of a price and is packed with value.
